Emerging Artists Showcase
and Exhibit
The Emerging Artists program is an
initiative of the North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Chapter to provide an outlet
for local, upcoming talent to gain exposure and assistance from patrons and
supporters of the arts. Delta Sigma Theta has a long legacy of arts
patronage, participation, and support that extends to the days of the
founders, who many, themselves, were artists in their own right.
The North Dallas Suburban Alumnae
Chapter is striving to continue the legacy of arts patronage set by our
founders and leaders. Through the Emerging Artists program, a venue is
offered to allow young adult artists the experience of being featured in a
gallery for the first time. In addition, our young adult and student artists
receive monetary awards to encourage their artistic development.
Delta Sigma Theta has always
encouraged young talent to pursue goals and dreams. We, at the North Dallas
Suburban Alumnae Chapter, are proud and pleased to play a part in the

Thanksgiving Basket Drive
Each year NDSA presents baskets
containing all the food and trimmings for a spectacular Thanksgiving Day to
families in need. This is one of the ways we interact with the community to
let those less fortunate know that we care.
Each year various families
receive baskets with food items to carry them from breakfast to dinner; as
well as, snacks in between! These baskets are given with all the best for a
wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving Day.
