The North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. welcomes you to our official website! Established on March 24, 1996, by a dedicated group of 43 women, our chapter is committed to upholding the legacy of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Founded in 1913 at Howard University, our organization has grown into an international force with over 350,000 initiated women and more than 1,050 chapters worldwide.
Based in North Dallas, our chapter serves a diverse range of communities including Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Garland, Irving, Mesquite, Plano, and Richardson. We are passionately devoted to promoting public service, academic excellence, and political awareness within the African American community and beyond.
Through our programming, we actively support Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
